Welcome to ancient archaeological site Aptera in Crete, Greece. This site was never mentioned in any of the tourist books we looked at before we headed to Crete but we were so glad that we stumbled upon it. Contrary to more popular archaeological sites on the island, we were able to enjoy the beautifully restored historical site as a family and really take it in. We even squeezed a family analogue time while we visit the amphitheater. The site was full of wild flowers and just stunningly beautiful. I hope you enjoy journaling with the BK family. - Wakako
