Online Orders

Yes, it is possible to adjust orders to a certain part of our fulfillment process. Please email us at: karma@baum-kuchen.net, as soon as possible, and we can send you an updated invoice for the additional items or offer refund for a canceled item. Please note that depending on the size and weight of the added items, we might need to increase your shipping fee if you are adding items to your order.

Yes, we can cancel orders as long as it has not shipped. Please email us at karma@baum-kuchen.net, as soon as possible; we will cancel and process your refund.

Items in new condition in their original packaging can be returned for a refund if it's within 7 days of the delivery. Please return your items to:

Please include your original invoice and package the return parcel thoroughly to ensure that your item is not damaged on its way from you to our studio. We can refund your order once we inspect the returned item in person. Please know that we will deduct the refund if there is any damage or signs of usage (even very small ones, since we won't be able to sell the item in a new condition).

We currently use USPS for all domestic orders and USPS or DHL Express (depending on the country) for our international orders.

No, we do not offer free shipping at BK Studio.

For most international orders, we use DHL Express, which is more expensive due to the insurance and guaranteed delivery time frame included in the service.

We do our best to ship all orders within a week after they are placed. But sometimes, when we experience higher volumes of orders, it may take a little longer than expected. If you hope to receive an order quickly, we recommend choosing the “Priority” shipping option, as our team prioritizes them before all other orders.

Yes! Please include the names of the sender and recipient of the gift when you check out, as well as any message you'd like us to include. We will make sure to wrap your gift with special care!

For TSL products, we usually do not have an estimated time for products to be restocked. All TSL products are handmade in Japan, and their production schedules are not public.

To ensure that you find out about the restock updates, please sign up to receive email notifications on the product page,  you will receive an email notification as soon as we have the product available.

Studio and Events

We are open most Sundays from noon to 5 p.m. But please check the store opening hours page for the most up-to-date information regarding our store hours.

During weekdays, we are usually focused on fulfilling online orders. When we open the door for opening hours, our team orients intentional energy to spend time with our analogue community in-person. Having designated opening hours helps us to ensure that the BK in-store experience is consistent in how we approach every element of Baum-kuchen.

We hope to host more workshops and community events in the future. Please keep an eye out on our Instagram page and website for any future events.

Truly Yours

Each Truly Yours starts with a consultation, so the individual options are not available for purchase and are marked “sold out” on our online store. However, we have the customization pages available for you to browse for inspiration! Once you’ve decided on an option, please email your ideas to trulyyours@baum-kuchen.net

A Truly Yours team member will help you envision the design through email. We will create a draft PDF for you to visualize and finalize your decisions based on your request. Once confirmed, we will reserve the service and create a custom invoice for you. After the payment is complete, we will have a final check on a PDF file with your design for your confirmation.

Our wait time is usually around 4-8 weeks. But it depends on the number of custom orders in the queue and our team’s schedules. Feel free to contact: trulyyours@baum-kuchen.net for the most up-to-date turnaround timelines.

You can send us your beloved TN covers or purchase a new one from us!

All leather parts come in black, brown, or nude leather.

Yes! We love seeing different patches that come into our studio for it to be sewn on their TN covers! Another way to make your TN covers “truly yours”!

It depends! We have embossed on non-TN leather covers; some did turn out well. We always do our best to ensure the quality, but if it is not TN or Roterfaden covers, we cannot guarantee the result of the emboss.

We currently do not offer pocket sewing services for non-TN covers since all of our leather pockets are made to fit perfectly on TN covers (standard and passport sizes), and the pockets are not modified at the BK studio.
