Truly Yours re-launch // Weaving intentions, one stitch at a time.

We are slowly getting into our rhythm here in Asheville as kids started to attend their regular homeschooling activities outside of our house. It was a very loooong summer for us, to say the least.

While we got our kids ready for new homeschooling classes and activities, Frido, Kei, and I have also been preparing to re-launch our beloved Truly Yours service in Asheville. Taking care of a few administrative matters and physical inventory situations took time and patience. Frido needed to ensure all of our machines were working properly after moving them cross-country. We did a few practice runs last week, and having the sound of a steady sewing machine back in our lives feels good to us.

So, without further ado, I am thrilled to announce that we are officially reopening our Truly Yours service!!!!

Below are some logistics and steps of what you can expect since our TY service is now operating from Asheville.

1. If you would like to customize your Traveler’s Notebook (or other customizable artifacts from our shop), please first email us at trulyyours@baum-kuchen.net.
2. Kei will support you through the consultation of Truly Yours service and, based on your request, create a PDF design schematic for you to review and confirm.
3. Once you confirm the PDF, we will send a custom invoice.
4. You will receive the final PDF design when we confirm that the payment has been received. If you are customizing your personal Traveler’s Notebook, we will send you the shipping instructions so you can ship it to our location in Asheville. Please note that there will be no in-store customization or drop-off at our Altadena studio location.
5. Frido and Wakako will work on the customizations in Asheville, and once the project is complete, ship your order with love and care to you.

Something we are excited about (aside from the fact that this is finally happening!) is our new Truly Yours part called “Tool Pocket.” We heard many of our customers wanting to carry their favorite writing instruments with their notebooks, so we created this slim vertical pocket that can fit pens, highlighters, scissors, or whatever might be needed for journaling moments. I like the pocket with pens inside; they look nice and chunky.

Also, since we temporarily closed our TY service in the spring, we launched many original BK patches. I look forward to seeing these patches find new homes on special Traveler’s Notebook covers, too.

Most importantly, Kei, Frido, and I are excited about the tangible connection we get to build with our community through this service. Setting an intention together, whether you are using your TN cover for memory keeping, inner work, or however your heart desires, speaks to us deeply. We are thrilled to open a brand-new TN cover to weave hopes and dreams to help start the new journey as well as working with a TN cover that has been a part of someone’s life for many years.
