Time

Time

One of my favorite elements of traveling is the ability to see the concept of time differently. I am especially paying close attention to how it feels "not" to have pre-determined appointments to rush throughout the day. For our family, the full schedule at home chops the day in small slices with lots of unwanted transitions. Past few days have been a great reminder that we can make more time to connect when we are not constantly on the go. With more calmness and space in our day, we can even include an evening kayaking as a part of our bedtime routine:)

Our everyday routine is always work-in-progress and I am looking forward to playing with more time experiments when we get home in a few days and prototype what feels good to our family today.
