Documenting our travel with Kuretake Watercolor Kit

Hello from our home in Altadena.
Our family was on the road for 3 weeks in Germany as our annual family visit to spend time with Frido's family in Hamburg. As a part of my effort to be more present during the trip, I practiced "seeing" little more through "drawing". On this trip, I brought my BK Sketch Notebook and Kuretake Watercolor Travel Kit with me. We traveled light as always (with carry-ons) so I loved the compact travel kit that was ready to go. Our kids have used it when we waited for our meals at the restaurant and I used it at our Bauhaus tour as well as a simple family outing to the park. The travel kit comes with a Kuretake fine-tip pen as well as water brush so I was able to literally open my sketchbook and my watercolor kit anywhere and start doodling!

It's always fun to experiment with artifacts we are carrying both every day and on the road. I am glad that I can personally share it with you that we adore this watercolor kit and am looking forward to experimenting more with it:) I hope you enjoy the mini clips from our time in Germany:)
