Hi there, I hope you’re well and making time for yourself. I’m here to share a bit of my process as a continuation of our "journal/paint with me" series. I also got to try out the new Gansai Tambi watercolor set we started carrying! I already enjoy using the original color set so I was excited to try the lovely new pallet.
I didn’t plan out my process too much for this painting. Some colors in this set reminded me of sweets, so I painted from my memories of donut runs with my partner (the icing one for them and the plain cake donut for me). I let my curiosity and whim in the moment steer this painting, and had a lot of fun. Though I did make myself hungry in the process.
