Slowly, I am starting to find a pocket of time here and there to ground myself. Summer feels like it just began, yet, the vibe around here feels like we are halfway done with our season. This afternoon, we had a couple of hours between my BK work and our scheduled appointment. Girls and I spent some open-ended time at home. Satchi was reading her book on a quiet nook. Coco sat on the patio watching trees sway in the garden. I sat by the kitchen window and started writing.
