The idea of the "Platform" was inspired by a handmade cross-stitch folder Satchi made for my Traveler's Notebook a few years ago. The cross-stitch folder has two felt vertical pockets where I keep a few sticker sheets. But most importantly, it wraps around my JIYU Monthly refill like a gentle hug. It adds tactility and a sense of humanness to my analogue experience whenever I need a place to ground myself, and it's a constant reminder of Satchi's kindness. About a year and a half ago, as I conceptualized the idea of the "Platform", I was imagining an artifact that would become a long-lasting talisman, holding many stories close to your heart. When combined with our Truly Yours service, the Platform can serve as a base for adding meaning and intentions by embossing, patches, and brass plates, as well as extra functionality to your TN experience through various pockets and pen loops. Frido and I spent a lot of time going through many prototype phases to bring this artifact to life, and I am so thrilled that we can now share it with you. - wakako

There are many creative adventures you can take with Platform, but here are some ideas to stir your imagination. 

• Insert the minimalistic Platform around your refill to provide an even surface for your drawing or writing.
• Customize the platform by adding embossing, patches, brass plates, and rivets to make your analogue experience personal. (see the example photos by scrolling down the photo reel. You can see wabi-sabi patch as well as crane embossing added to the original Platform). .
