The [BKxStalogy] 365 Days Notebook "Tend Your Inner Garden" was designed by A.C. Esguerra, a comics artist + writer based in Los Angeles. Conceptualized from our shared passion for native plants in Southern California, the back covers of the Stalogy notebooks feature original illustrations of native botany from the Santa Monica Mountains captured by A.C. Esguerra. The featured plants include matilija poppy, California grizzly bear grass, black sage, coastal sagebrush, coastal sunflower, buckwheat, arroyo lupine, California poppy, mugwort, chapparel mallow, California lettuce, common yallow, and sticky monkeyflower.

An A5-size cover portrays the sweeping view of the Santa Monica Mountains and a circular BK gate adorned with abundant wildflowers. The B6-size illustration zooms in on the gate, where you can enjoy more detailed nuances and personalities of each plant and flower.

We hope you will have opportunities to go through the open gate to tend to your inner world as you would care for your beloved garden. Whether this notebook becomes your intimate journal, a sketchbook, or a catch-all, let the resilience and generosity of the natural world be a gentle reminder that growth can look different for each of us, and sometimes the expansion of the deep roots that's happening under our soil is just as important as the gorgeous flowers we see above.

Details on the inside pages:

Each page has minimal details (dates, days of the week, grids, and time numbers), so you can use it however it fits your everyday. (Please note the text for this detailed information is very small!) The paper is very thin and writes smoothly. Even though it comes with 368 pages, the notebook feels compact and easy to carry.
