Michael Sans Berlin Collection
The designer Michael Sans, based in Berin, created an exclusive line of leather goods.
His
products are manufactured to the highest quality with careful attention
given to every detail. All items are hand-made in Germany using
natural, sustainable and eco-friendly materials and processes.
The leather on his bags and belts is tanned using natural materials. The colors are not spray-applied but massaged in. The edges of the products are treated in a traditional style in white. Not only does this white color protect, but it also makes a nice contrast to the shade of the leather.
Southern
German calf leather is too thick to be sewed by machine. Thus each item
is elaborately prepared at a Brandenburg saddlery and hand-stitched
afterward. The specially waxed sewing thread in white is extremely
robust and tear-proof. All
fittings, metal pieces and rivets are made of rustproof aluminum or
stainless steal and are obtained exclusively from Germany and
Switzerland. An aluminum badge, on which the individual serial number is stamped by hand, makes every item unique.
All the materials,
especially the leather, do age very nicely and get a beautiful patina.
The longer you use it, the more beautiful it becomes.
